What is Tennessee Stud Cider Co.?
Tennessee Stud Cider is a brand of hard cider hand-crafted by Yee-Haw Brewing Company.
Founded in 2015, Yee-Haw Brewing Co. started in a historic railroad depot built in the late 1800s in Johnson City, TN. Quickly growing from a start-up to one of the fastest developing craft breweries in the southeast, Yee-Haw Brewing Co. is an award-winning brewery with several beer championship awards at the state and national levels. Built on a strong foundation of beer, cider, seltzer, and wine, each location has experienced brewers on-site who develop specialty brews reflective of their local markets.
Tennessee Stud Cider Company was born in 2022 when our team of local, talented brewers started with hand selected ingredients and then added their passion and know-how to create new ways to surprise & delight.
Where do our products come from?
Tennessee Stud Cider is the most recent expression of our brewers’ creativity. Our brewers artfully create each new flavor using unique and delicious tastes. All of our bottles are distributed from our brewery in Knoxville, TN.

Do we sell Yee-Haw beer in our store?
We do! We carry select Yee-Haw brews available by can only and we do not sample these for guests at this time. Other Yee-Haw taproom locations will have a more extensive list of options as we only carry the more popular and seasonal brews at Tennessee Stud.

Can someone under 21 visit a cider house?
Yes, someone under 21 can visit a cider with an adult who is 21+. Someone under 21 can not do a tasting. You must present a valid ID to do a tasting.
About our Cider & Cream Wine
What is hard cider?
Hard cider is an alcoholic drink made from fermented apple juice, but that’s a simple description for something that’s so delicious. Hard cider is fizzy, sweet, and can be flavored like so many of your favorite tastes.
What does “dry cider” mean?
Dry is a term used to describe an alcoholic drink that has little or no sugar content. This means that the drink is high in alcohol and low in water content, making it more potent and less sweet. The word dry can be applied to wines as well as other types of alcoholic beverages.
What is a Cream Wine?
Cream wine is a mix of cream, wine, and flavors that make a silky smooth drink. Tennessee Stud Cream Wine is creamy and candy-sweet, made with fruit, chocolates, and favorite dessert flavors that delight the palate. Cream wine is perfect over ice, mixed in coffee, or in one of our signature drink recipes.

Do we fill the bottles on site or refill them?
All bottles arrive at our cider houses pre-filled. We do not refill bottles; however, our unique bomber bottles are sold with a resealable cap making them perfect for you to re-use at home.
How long do the ciders/creams last in the bottle?
Ciders last similarly to that of a beer in a bottle and can last for months before being opened. Once opened, the provided bottle sealers help keep the ciders fresh for 3-4 days. If a guest would like to still enjoy a cider that has gone flat, suggest putting champagne/prosecco/soda water in it to give it back some bubble.
Creams need to be refrigerated upon opening and have a shelf life of up to a year if kept refrigerated and sealed appropriately.
